Will Patton, who portrays Harry’s oldest friend Chick, especially enjoyed the idea of participating in an action film that broadened some of the predictable aspects of the genre. One of the great things about this film is that it’s not about men hating each other or violently going against each other. There’s no real violence here. The simplicity of real flesh and blood men up against the chaos of this asteroid and all the technical insanity that’s a really interesting element.
